We are the artist and we are the masterpiece. As the artist, we have a multitude of tools, counsel, choices of media, and inspiration. However, we only get ONE canvas, ONE block of marble or clay. We must learn to choose and use the correct nutritional fuels as tools and to utilize optimal exercise programs as our brush strokes, mallets, and chisels in order to also become the masterpiece.
Artists draw creativity from inspiration. So as we work together on your masterpiece, surround yourself with positive affirmation and optimism. Believe in the process, visualize your product, and recognize your progress. Your masterpiece is priceless and one of a kind.
Your body won't go where your mind doesn't push it. I am here to help you create your best self in mind, body, and spirit. So whether you want to just make a few healthy changes and learn to eat and exercise more optimally or you're training for an elite athletic event, your program will be created with your goals and lifestyle in mind. We will work closely together to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals.
I found myself in the fitness industry when I was working as a front desk attendant at a gym when I was 17 years old. One day, the aerobics instructor didn't show up and there was a class of about 25 people waiting at our peak gym time. My manager asked me if I had any music cassette tapes in my car (yes, that long ago) and I said, "Yes! You can use my music!". He laughed and said, "No, YOU are going to use YOUR music to teach an aerobics class!"
Over the summers and on school vacations I used to work out with morning exercise shows like "Bodies in Motion with Gilad", Cory Everson's "Bodyshaping", and "The ESPN Fitness Pros". So with that little bit of group fitness experience, I literally put myself out there and taught my first class. From then on, I knew this industry was where my purpose was.
And as you can see from my education and certifications, the rest is history.
Because each aspect of our whole wellness is affected by each, a small change in one health behavior can cascade into a lifestyle of vitality.
Everything from your gut health to your posture affects your physical and mental health, so a together we will take a wholistic look at your habits, your environment, and put together an action plan that will help you meet your goals while managing the pushback that can come with health behavior change.
My mission and purpose is to empower people to be their very best self by strengthening their nutritional and physical well being by building their psychological wellness, while building their psychological well-being by strengthening their nutritional and physical wellness.
Sounds redundant, right? Well, it is. And each is affected by each which is affected by each.
